The luminous form at its heart holds a soft white glow from one perspective, and a radiant gold from another — a subtle reminder that peace is not fixed but revealed through how we stand in the light.
Rooted in intuitive process, this painting was laid down through meditative mark-making, washes of luminous colour, and a resist technique that lets pigment slide rather than cling, echoing the lotus’ natural ability to shed what does not serve. The result is a presence that feels both gentle and wise — a sanctuary for the eye and a pause for the heart.
Protected with layers of sealant and varnish that let light enter while preserving surface integrity, this work invites gentle reflection, balance, and a deep, steady breath.
