New Interview: Channeled with Julie Edmonds

I’m excited to share a heartfelt, 40-minute conversation I had with Julie Edmonds on her YouTube show Channeled: Tapping Into the Wisdom of Your Soul — you’ll find the video at the top of this post.

When Julie reached out this past July, just three months after I’d moved from Newfoundland to Ottawa to help my father, I wasn’t painting, wasn’t teaching, and wasn’t sure where my own path was heading. Part of me wondered if I should decline the interview — Was I even an “active” artist or lightworker anymore?

But another part whispered, This story might help someone.
And that was enough.

Julie’s invitation arrived before I had even made the decision to move out of my father’s house (which would soon be for sale) and into my own space.

Looking back, it was perfect timing—another example of how intuitive living often asks us to say yes long before we see the full picture.

By the time we recorded the interview in mid-October, everything had shifted. Papa had regained much of his strength and independence. I was settled in my new home, grounded, connected, and about to start painting the very first piece for my own space.

What’s unfolded since has surprised even me: two personal paintings, four more created for sale, and the birth of Paintings with Purpose—my new offering for those wanting art aligned with their intention.

And yes…
When I listened to the interview, I laughed at how fast I was talking. Months without talking about intuitive living, and suddenly it all came rushing back. Excitement has its own velocity!
