Description
From This Day Forward is a visual prayer for entering a new chapter with intention, groundedness, connection, and trust.
Inspired by the shape of a stained-glass window at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Ottawa, the painting brings together a personal collection of spiritual symbols and practices: the spiritual eye of deep meditation; angels holding the sun and moon; two profiles representing the Self; the Tree of Life embracing Earth; the Vesica Pisces geometry of the Chalice Well within the river of Divine Flow; and three expressions of the Self—awake and ready, in meditation, and in yoga—each journeying toward the labyrinth of the soul.
Richly textured framing gives each pane tangible depth, catching light and shadow and creating a sense of entering one sacred space after another.
This painting was part of my personal collection for almost a year, serving as a daily reminder to live consciously, stay grounded, trust the journey, and remain connected to the Divine.
Now, From This Day Forward is ready to become part of someone else’s sacred space.
Whether you are beginning a new chapter, deepening your spiritual practice, or simply feel drawn to its imagery, may this painting remind you to move forward with courage, gratitude, openness, and trust in the path unfolding before you.
From this day forward.
