The Flower of Life, chakra colours and a meditating figure come together in this one-of-a-kind piece of sacred art.
I recreated the Flower of Life to scale using a compass and 19 interconnected circles, creating a powerful symbol of unity and interconnectedness behind the meditator.
The meditator is a figure that has been appearing in my work throughout this season as I’ve been diving more deeply into meditation and chakra courses. You’ll find this figure in several of my recent paintings.
As in my other paintings, the seven chakras are represented as coloured dots within the meditator, following the line of the astral spine. Here, that familiar figure is brought together with the Flower of Life to create a piece that reflects several of the themes inspiring my work this year.
Beautiful—and made for humid weather
