Description
Created during a week of spiritual retreat at home, A Return to Source emerged as a living expression of remembrance and inner return.
At its heart is the Flower of Life, a symbol of creation unfolding from a single Source into infinite expression. In this painting, it rests within an open archway—felt not as a frame, but as a gateway between ordinary awareness and the deeper reality meditation reveals.
Above it, a pair of angel wings mirrors the sacred geometry, forming a second embrace within the composition. These wings represent unseen Divine Helpers—supporting, guiding, and gently lifting us inward and upward. Beneath them, a small meditator offers herself fully to the Divine, hands raised in Anjali Mudra. Her gesture becomes a visual prayer: an offering of the whole self in devotion, surrender, and receptivity.
The lower field of the painting, once expressive and raw, resolves into thousands of hand-painted violet and gold dots. From a distance they harmonize the surface; up close they reveal a field of living vibration—suggesting that what appears solid is, at its essence, energy and light.
This work holds a simple invitation: the return is not a journey outward, but a remembering inward. Not becoming something new, but recognizing what has never been lost.
A Return to Source speaks to that quiet knowing—beneath all form, all story, all movement, there is only the One expressing itself as the many… gently calling us home.
