With her arms raised, hair and skirts swirling, and the sun and moon accompanying her, this wild woman embodies the joy of being fully alive.
I created The Joy Drum as a reminder that joy isn’t something we have to chase. Beneath all the layers of life, there is something within us that remembers how to move, celebrate and simply be.
From one angle, her skin appears white; from another, she seems to radiate a soft, pale gold—as though the light is coming from within.
May she remind you to let go, move freely and remember the joy that naturally lives at your core.
One of the things I especially love about this Remo Buffalo Drum is how well it handles humidity and changes in temperature.
It has a Fiberskyn® synthetic drumhead, rather than traditional animal skin, making it a wonderful choice for humid climates.
The Buffalo Drum has a rich, resonant sound with excellent projection and comes with a mallet and rope handle.
