Your Layers of Visual Symbolism

We receive our intuitive messages through many channels – our inner and outer sight, hearing, sensations, knowing, smell & taste.

It’s just like in school. Some people are auditory learners. Others are visual learners. Others are experiential learners. It’s good to teach with many learning styles in mind. Same with my Divine Storytelling Time Packages.

Your Team of Divine Helpers, your Higher Self, your inner wisdom – whatever you choose to call intuition will find a way to get Guidance to you, one way or another.

When I co-create a Divine Storytelling Time Package for you, I help you tune into your intuition by channeling both auditory & visual symbolic data for you to decipher.

When I was guided to offer this service, I knew that the 1-hour dream-like story I receive (mostly through vision) was the core of the intuitive reading. It’s like listening to a fantastic radio play, filled with meaning – the meaning you give it.

I also provide more visual & word-based guidance through a Spirit Calling Card spread that opens the story. These oracle cards are based on both my photography & paintings.

Cynthia’s Divine Storytelling Time Experience

Two and a half years after hiring me to co-create a Divine Storytelling Time Package, Cynthia Ferrie asked me to channel a second one.

Cynthia Talks About Her Divine Storytelling Time Experiences

 

Why did you choose to get another Divine Storytelling Time Package at this time?

I got the 1st as I was about to move my life and my web design business to another province. That first reading gave me the confirmation that I needed to continue on that path, and trust that I was making the right choice. Recently, I was procrastinating on a number of decisions, including another move, and starting a second business. After a rough year, I was looking for a few hints that would take me in the right direction again.

Can you tell us more about the benefits of that first one?

The story symbolized steps along the way that I needed to take before I could get to where I am now. It allowed me to be more confident in my decision making in my personal and professional life.

Several elements of the story really allowed me to own my value as an entrepreneur. Before I started working with you, I was much more critical, self-judgmental, and kept putting walls up when I compared myself and my progress to others.

The whole experience of working with the different parts of my Divine Storytelling Time Package incrementally opened my mind and my heart, showing me things I didn’t realize were barriers to expressing my Best Self.

I’m so much clearer about my direction in life. Mostly, I gained such trust – in myself and my process. I used to focus on the problems. Now, I see that not all challenges are problems, and I trust in their purpose, their gift.

There’s just so much more trust, in myself and in my experiences. More self-love. Excitement. And motivation. The stories show me my potential and it’s been incredibly motivating. It’s added such value to what I do on a daily basis.

How often do you work with the material?

I listen to my story every 2 days – sometimes the whole thing and something bits & pieces. I could almost recite the first one by heart (chuckle). So it’s easy to relate what’s happening around me to the story. I still sometimes listen to the first one because it’s still speaking to me 2.5 years later.

Is your experience with the 2nd different than the first? 

There were some consistencies between both my readings, like the appearance of a garden and injecting colour into everything around me. There were some big differences too.

They both have this quality of a timeline, while simultaneously hinting at other choices that occur outside the timeline. It took me 18 months to get through the first timeline in my life, using the clues in the story to help me make decisions. This time, I feel like I’m half way through the story’s timeline in just 6 weeks.

Why do you think that is? 

The 2nd time around, I’m making connections so much faster. I’m manifesting spiritual but also material things so quickly – it’s mind blowing.

Because of the first story, I’m now more comfortable, more open to the symbolism all around me. I’m open to my intuition. My perception is broader. So I’m more trusting and making connections and decisions faster. I also believe in myself a lot more and I’m sure that’s making a difference.

Can you give me examples from your 2nd story and how it’s helping you now? 

I was brought to tears so many times when I listened to it the first time. It was like a reality check – not like a kick in the pants, but a gentle “Hey, can’t you see what you could be doing right now?”

I’d been procrastinating on a decision to move to Ontario and start a new business. Now, I’m here, and so many things have fallen into place. My material goals, my spiritual development, and my overall well-being are coming together at a rate I previously had never experienced.

Part of the vision you received reminded you of the shopping sequence in the movie Pretty Woman – of not feeling accepted – and then you saw my kids run into a brownstone house. That showed me that my first step here was to help my kids settle in before focusing on my new career direction. I’ve done that and they’re thriving, feeling so safe and accepted. They’re making friends easily and my youngest, even more free spirited than myself, feels so much more confident to explore on her own here.

The next step, as revealed in the story, is to unlock the gate to the garden. I have such trust now that whatever is meant to happen is happening. I’m getting hints at what that is from the story, but it’s exciting to be able to recognize the signs and opportunities around me. I know I’m going in the right direction.

At the end of this 2nd Divine Storytelling Time, the colour pink is splashing off my desk all over the floor and spreading all over the place, eventually shining through as pink veins all over the planet. The particular shade of pink is one that often reminds people of me and my work. I recognize that this is something I’m working towards – the goal of my new venture is to help others light themselves up… to be inspired and fulfilled in their lives no matter what their current circumstances. I’m moving away from just being a website designer and stepping into the role of a life and business coach.

Your story showed me the potential my life holds. That’s so exciting! So motivating!

Any other specific examples? 

There were charms in both readings, this time on a necklace. You identified some of the charms and it was easy to see that these were my goals along the way. I’m working through those so quickly.

What about your Visual Gifts. How did these help?

Your first photograph (here) had several layers of imagery from New Brunswick when you didn’t know I was considering moving there. Of all the photos from your international travels, you chose to layer a few from NB. That was the confirmation my heart and mind were searching for. It provided comfort that moving there was the right decision for my family.

I’m still trying to figure out the one from this time (top). You’ve got 2 floating chairs looking back on the tracks through the tunnel and still have a layer from New Brunswick. I was a bit confused about that. I’d been in a relationship in NB before the summer, which ended when my priorities shifted due to an illness in my family, so a second chair was a bit of a brain-teaser.

But now it looks like we may start that up again, even though I’m now in another province. So it’s starting to make sense. I’m not sure what the future holds, but I’m not holding onto any fear or worry. I know I’m in the right place, on track for right now – and clearly with more abundance than I thought to hope for.

What about the Spirit Calling Card Reading? 

My latest reading was so significant. The fact “time” & “prosperity” jumped out of the pack as you were shuffling was a definite confirmation.  And when you told me that you’d been guided or even corrected to use the word “with” instead of “to” in the sentence, it totally shifted my perspective. That’s strong!

Do you see this kind of intuitive reading as helpful for everyone? 

I’d say you have to have an open mind and a belief that your intuition is guiding you. There was a huge difference between my 1st and 2nd reading because my energy was more scattered back then.

For me, this kind of reading is perfect. I think a typical psychic does a lot of the figuring out for you. You’re more dependent on what they say. With the Divine Storytelling Time, I had less fear that you were going to foretell something specific.

Because you’re a lightworker, you focus on the positive steps to live your best life. I wasn’t depending on you to make the meaning out of the story. That’s my job. That was the fun and really empowering part for me.

I find your style a lot more personal. I felt more involved. Sure, it was more of a challenge, but so much more powerful, personal. I feel you reach people at a deeper level of their soul – letting them figure out where their potential can take them. There are times I get giddy when I make a connection, which I don’t expect would happen if I visited a psychic.

I’m so much more self-aware and intuitive now because I was willing to do the work, and pay attention to my surroundings. And I believe in myself more because of it.

Each move I’ve made based on the wish sequence in the atrium in the first story, for example, has set off a ton of things in motion. The vision itself was a step in the right direction and every decision since has got me to where I am now – which is way ahead of where I was 2.5 years ago. And they’re still in motion, just at a much more rapid pace.

My trust has increased 20-fold – in me and in what’s happening. There’s no end to the story. I have faith that I’m making the right decisions and that’s something that’s definitely come out of working with your particular style of gift.

I don’t know if you realize that you influence me almost on a daily basis. Specific phrases you’ve said, and your genuine nature have had an effect on not just myself as an entrepreneur and individual, but how I understand and parent my youngest child (the free spirit). You’ve made such a difference in my life.

Ask and You Shall Receive – Representing my Intuition into Action Treasure Map – 5 Steps to a Happy Healthy Life

Here’s what the various rings of the mandala mean, from the centre out.

Step 1 – Ask

“Ask and you shall receive”. You’re asking all the time, but best do it intentionally. Because of “free will”, you need to ask for answers, help, and clarity.

Many of the symbols I used here have more than one meaning.

The hands in prayer are also peace doves.

The flame is not only your Light, your passion, and your meditative focus, but also the Holy Spirit.

What else do you see?

 

Step 2 – Access

Step 2

You’re ­­constantly receiving Guidance, but it’s hard to hear with all the noise. When in a state of hyper-awareness, you can see/hear/feel/etc. the clues. Intuitive hearing aids can accelerate results and give focused practice. The right brain and heart are active here.

I included a solid ring here to remind us to create space.

Then I represented the 6 clairs and the power of symbolism plus The Eye of Ra (symbol of all intuitive channels) inside chakra or rainbow-coloured hexagons – part of sacred geometry.

Step 3 – Analyze

With practice, the gap between accessing and analyzing get shorter. Here, the left brain joins in to make connections between the question and the clues. Decipher the the symbolism. You’re the most qualified to understand the messages you receive.

As you can see, the hexagons (intuitive channels) overlap into this ring of the mandala. That’s because intuition continues to play a role here, but interpretation helps, especially with the symbolism.

In this ring of the mandala, I painted the yin-yang as a symbol of the harmony between your right feminine intuitive mind and left masculine analytical mind.  I also painted question marks between the puzzle pieces because your job here is to match the pieces with your original question.

Step 4 – Act

Guidance is of no use if you don’t act on it. Follow through with inspired action, from baby steps to leaps of faith. The more you act, the easier it’ll get.

Indeed, take inspired action in all areas of your life. Here, I chose to represent them as glowing arrows forward for your 1) physical environment; 2) fun/recreation; 3) business / career; 4) personal/spiritual development; 5) wellness & health; 6) Romance/Family; 7) Finances/life planning; 8) Society.

Step 5 – Allow

Go with YOUR flow. Let things evolve and stay tuned in. Miracles and magic will happen. Trust that if you’re guided, there’s a reason for it in the big picture. 

That’s why I used a design in here to indicate movement in both directions.  You can also see that divine timing is involved here in the rising and setting of the sun, day after day. Stand in your Truth and trust that all the pieces of the puzzle will eventually come together.

Don’t worry if you disconnect and fall out of alignment with your soul. Just start the 5 steps again.

Use it or lose it. A quick intuitive exercise.

trinityCan you believe it? I almost lost my mother tongue. Even though I studied in French all the way through my first university degree, I almost lost it in the 25 years of teaching English across the world after that.  If you don’t use it, you lose it.

It’s the same with intuition! You’re born with it. But you’ve got to use it or lose it.

Intuition is your communication line between your heart and right feminine creative brain. Losing it means losing access to your essence, your inner GPS, your source of Guidance.

Don’t worry though. Like with any muscle, the more you exercise it, the stronger it’ll get. Soon, you’ll be fluent again in the language of your Higher Self and Divine Helpers.

Try this 6-minute Divine Storytelling Time Sample

Instead of my telling you what it means, it’s up to you to figure out how this story answers the questions in your heart. You get to match your interpretation of the symbolism with the questions you’re asking.

Do you like to play detective? Do you like to decipher codes? Think of this as a symbolism salad.

Finding your own meaning is a great way to develop your intuitive muscles.

As a couple, you can use this intuitive hearing aid to help you find direction, communicate, make decisions, and take inspired action in a fun, entertaining, and inspiring way! 

Try It Out

When I did this reading live, everyone in the group felt it had spoken directly to them. They’d each asked different questions and gotten different answers.  Now it’s your turn.

Step 1: Ask

Think of an area in your life you want guidance in. Ask your team of Divine Helpers for help as you work / play through the 5 Steps to Activate Your Intuition.

Write down a question that’s

  • specific (ex: in the next week)
  • simple (about 1 topic only)
  • open (who, what, why, how, when, where, etc.)
  • related to what you want (vs. what you don’t want- avoid should / will)

Examples: “How can I improve my energy levels this week?”, “What is my next best move to generate more income?”, “How can I create harmony in my relationship with my son in the next 3 months?”

Step 2: Access

In a Divine Storytelling Time, I do a lot of the accessing for you. The story becomes an intuitive hearing aid.

You still need to engage your heart/right brain as you listen.

Pay attention to feelings, thoughts, memories, other data from your 5 senses that come in as you listen.

Step 3: Analyze

Now invite your left brain to join the team to help you match the story details with your question of the day.

What do the different elements in the story mean in relation to your question?

Some may be literal, but more often they’re not.  

Break the story down into parts as each contains messages and clues. 

If my question was about income, I could interpret the part about the ball of creatures unable to get out of the taxi as “You’re trying to do too much and so nothing is getting out the door. ”

If I was asking about improving my energy levels, I could interpret the part about the deflated donkey skin in the water as advice for self-care: rehydrate, soak in a hot tub, slow down to avoid burn-out, etc.

If my question was about harmony with my son, the magical rainbow in the single strand of hair could be a reminder that we are one beyond our DNA. It’s up to me to choose to acknowledge the miracle that he is instead of focusing on all I feel he’s doing wrong. I need to hold him up to the Light to see him through that perspective.

There’s a lot of guidance in just 6 minutes. When I channel an individual Divine Storytelling Time session, they’re usually about an hour long.

Every time you listen to your recording, you’d approach it with different questions and receive different answers.

Your attention would be drawn to different parts of the story.

The same part may mean different things on different days.

Step 4: Act

Guidance is useless if you don’t act on it.

Your job is to take your analysis and create your inspired to-do or to-be list.

Then, to avoid overwhelm, do one at a time.

When you take inspired action, miracles start happening.  Doors open. Resources appear. You gain clarity. Synchronicity becomes the new normal.

The more you’re aware of your success in the guidance cycle, the more courage you gain to take the next inspired step.

Soon you’ll be going from baby steps to leaps of faith.

Step 5: Allow

Allow for things to evolve naturally with Divine Timing.

Results or reasons may not be evident immediately.

It can take days, months, or years to see how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together perfectly.

Trust that if it was truly guided, there was a reason. Then stay open and curious as to what that might be.

That’s how you’ll discover the treasure map to your soul.

A Sure Sign Society is Shifting

When I got the call from the head of the Health Network for the provincial francophone federation (FFTNL) to teach intuition across the province, I was thrilled … a little surprised, and thrilled!

This was proof! For a government sponsored program to hire me to help people reconnect to their inner wisdom and Guidance is a sure sign that society is shifting.

Intuition is an Invitation to Grow

I’ll admit, I had to face my own fears when my soul asked me to come out of the visionary closet a few years back.

Sure, I’d written about living intuitively and talked about intuitive painting for years.

But I shook for 3 days when I received Guidance to start publicly talking about my visions and to use these to help people.

All sorts of fears came up to the surface – from this lifetime and, from my belief system, past ones too. I didn’t want to get burned at the stake again …

Plus, I’d learned to shut up about such things at a young age in this lifetime.

I may have nurtured that side of me when I was alone, but I learned to wear masks in public. We all do.

So few of us are fully and unconditionally accepted for who we are when we’re young. Plus our educational system, as it is now, isn’t designed to foster imagination, inspiration, and intuition.

It’s time to reclaim your gifts, whatever those are, because the cost of keeping them repressed is too high. Not living in alignment with your heart & soul causes dis-ease in body, mind, and spirit. You deserve better!

So my job is to encourage folks to get back into alignment one inspired step at a time through my 5 Steps to Activate Your Intuition to Get Your Life Back On Track.

This isn’t some scary woo-woo stuff. It’s natural. You were born with it. It’s simply a muscle that needs exercise.

Let the Pieces Fall Into Place

I’m still not sure where it’s all leading, but I’m loving how it’s evolving.

There’s nothing like an example to help understand the transformation a service can help provide.

So today, I’m thrilled to share part of Patricia’s experience with her Intuitive Reading Package.

You’ve heard me say before that when I connect to your Higher Self and team of Divine Helpers on your behalf,  they “download” their messages through these Disney-Pixar-like visions filled with symbolism to decipher. As we’re all connected through Divine Consciousness, I can channel this for people all around the world – no schedule necessary.

It’s an entertaining and fun way to find clarity and in this case, comfort.

Part of the process is for you (the client) to enter this experience with an open heart and the curiosity of a child playing detective.

The other part is to decide what these symbols and story mean to you, so you can translate them into inspired action. Guidance is useless if you don’t act on it.

I don’t do the interpretation for you. No one is better at understanding what something means to you than you are. It’s all part of helping you develop your own intuitive muscles.

For example, bread crumbs may remind one person of bonding with their grandmother while feeding the pigeons, but will symbolized being lost to someone who grew up reading the fairy tale Hansel & Gretel.

There’s nothing more empowering than coming up with your own decisions based on the meaning you find in the information your Guides provide through the 3 parts of your intuitive reading package.

“Oh Dominique! I’ve finished the 2nd listening and taken copious notes both times. I’m blown away.

So many things could relate to my husband and me. I cried when the diamond ring was found among the ashes because I lost my diamond engagement ring a few weeks before he died. I am leaking now as I think of finding it again in the fire pit in your story.  In this vision, it acted as a key to a furthering of their journey, so I take comfort in that.

I asked this question before listening: “How will I know I have made the right move to come to Newfoundland?” The peace I felt when that beautiful angel appeared and healed the bird’s broken wing so she could fly again filled me up to bursting!!!

The ending held a message for me. You said she flew – dropping sparkles as she went (Wordsworth? We come trailing clouds of glory?) So my first inspired step will be to reread that poem and look for a message. [Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of early Childhood]

The bird then flew off and reached its crowd and regained its colour – again meaning here in NL for me – especially after meeting so many like-minded people.

There was also so much travel into the stars and planets and looking at the moon, etc. There is a series of lectures called “Painting the Stars”- offered at the Lantern here in town. I was pondering whether to go to that or take another singing course for 8 weeks, but now I believe my 2nd inspired step will be to explore that course at the Lantern.

Oh Dominique, I have just listened once more to my Divine Storytelling Time and through my tears of understanding, I just had to share more with you. I believe it made going back to the home I shared with my husband for 35 years easier than I expected.

My husband and I were very different but very close – having no children – just each other. And it was the hardest thing I have ever done – once our home and land was sold – to drive down our long driveway and away from the property we so loved.

My Husband loved his property and there was a niggling fear in me that he would not be happy I had sold it. But in this session, I feel he has given me his blessing and set me free to fly away – not to any specific new mission, but just to discover me. I feel I am finding that here on this quirky wonderful Rock (NL).

So many images in your vision I feel refer to us. There is a scene where a door of a planet opens and he goes in leaving me on the rocket outside. I send paper airplanes after him – almost like love notes. There’s a sense of happiness and sadness – happy that I saw him safely off in my craziness after his death. I went with him to the crematorium – checked that he had not been touched and watched him go through the door to his new destiny – like the door to the planet.

Then all the references to decision making- to the light and the dark – to being on the moon, making a decision. In Quebec, there’s a saying when you’re really not with it and running on auto-pilot – the French say we are “dans la lune” [in the moon].

Then there’s the zip line from the moon back into the heart of the woman in the Adirondack chair – could I have been finally coming back to my Self?

The blessing and healing on the mountain were also important to me. I broke my arm a few years ago – but the healing by the angel went beyond the healing of my arm. And then the message “You don’t need to find a new purpose or mission or as we say “raison d’être” – you are perfect as you are. We all need to hear that don’t we?

The feeling of holiness or a church gathering and communion and blessing resonated with me as I was Lay Worship leader after retiring from teaching, and I have just returned from Quebec where I went specifically to visit with the minister that encouraged me to follow that path and study for 2 years to be accredited.

In your free guided meditation, you lead us to a campfire where there was so much love and where all the ones who loved me were – including my guides and deceased parents. One person rose to embrace me. It was my former minister – and I felt I had to go home to visit with him. We had a wonderful time speaking of the Spirit and reminiscing. I told him all about you and the 3-day retreat and feeling I had met my tribe. Interestingly his wife is a Shaman in the North American tradition!

Back to the vision and the last part where the bird finds the little boy under the picnic table and he holds her in his arms. The interaction between the bird and the boy was SO_O_O_O meaningful to me. The light streaming between them – his dark comforting steady light – I called my husband My Rock , and my sparkly, more all over the place bright light was such a deep form of communication.

Then he took me out behind the restaurant (where I recognized the greasy smell from the vent) and he set me free – oh my … time out for Kleenex. But then you said he went back to his family (his parents are also deceased) full of pride and self assurance – so I could take comfort in the fact that I had helped him – I knew he was okay – better even – and he had released me to go on – we were both going to be okay.

It will be 7 years this coming Fall when my husband suddenly dropped in front of me right after giving me the most beatific smile he had ever given. 7- the number of perfection??? !

And now I have met you and received this comforting vision – a miracle really – and will continue, I hope, to use the message from your cards – “Follow the Miracles to receive Complete Clarity Now“.

I hope you also understand why I was impulsively moved to commission you to do one of your divinely inspired paintings for me (Co-Creative Soul Energy Portrait). I just HAD to.

Living One Inspired Step At A Time

Living an inspired life takes practice. Intuition is a muscle that gets stronger the more you use it.

I’ve been living this way for decades. I’ve learned to trust my intuition with no regrets.

There’s no way I could’ve imagined how all the pieces would fit together one day. But they have. And I’m not done yet.

My intuition has led me to working and studying on 3 continents and 5 provinces across Canada.

I’ll be turning 50 this year, but I’m just starting out as a full-time intuitive artist and lightworker after decades of doing it part time, along with careers in recreation, education, and arts administration. It’s been amazing!

To tell the truth, I resist change. I’m not a natural risk-taker. But when I’m strongly guided, nothing stops me.

I feel the fear and do it anyway. I keep accepting the invitations to grow by aligning my life with my soul.

What are Guided Visualization Meditations ?

They have 2 purposes.

First, they raise your vibration as they activate a particular theme.

One client wanted me to channel a custom meditation to help her with her music. Another wanted support for her healing journey.

Second, they’re a fun way to exercise your intuitive muscles. 

Because you can listen to them repeatedly with different intentions, they offer limitless opportunities to seek and find Guidance.

As you sit or lie there with your eyes closed, you’re guided on a discovery journey that opens up worlds of experience, connection, and meaning.

It’s like you’re being led through scenes from a movie, but the movie pauses once in a while. This gives you a chance to explore that moment through your own imagination, inspiration, and intuition –the 3 stages of Higher Knowledge according to Rudolf Steiner.

How Do Guided Visualizations Fit Within the “Intuition Into Action Treasure Map“?

These meditations help you practice The 5 Steps to a Happy Healthy Life.  This is how:

1. Ask

Guidance comes when you ask. You’re asking all the time, but it’s best when you do it intentionally rather than subconsciously.

By choosing a themed meditation, you’re asking your team of Divine Helpers and your Higher Self for support. They’re always present, but because of “free will”, they need to be invited into your process.

Ask and you shall receive…

2. Access & Accept

This step is about collecting clues and receiving messages.

You’re constantly receiving Guidance. It’s just hard to hear it with all the noise out there or in your own mind. Stress and desperation are like static on the line.

Intuition is about being in a hyper-aware state.

You can sustain this for days or even weeks once you’ve de-cluttered the distractions and honed in your skills.

For now, guided visualization meditations give you a structure to tap into your intuition within a set time frame.  

You may see, hear, feel, know, smell, taste, or remember things as you experience the journey.

It doesn’t matter how the messages are presented.  Your Guidance will find a way to communicate through whichever channel is most open.

When you get into a meditative state with the help of music and a loving voice, you focus your attention and open to hearing your inner callings. That’s when your imagination, inspiration, and intuition kick in.

The beauty with these recordings is that you’ll experience them differently each time you listen.

You may ask different questions, connect to different Guides, and receive different clues throughout your discovery journey.

3. Analyze

It’s best to keep the receiving and interpreting separate in the intuitive process. They involve different sides of your brain.

The right brain, or your feminine side is active in Step 2, along with your heart. Now, it’s time for left brain, or masculine side, to join in.

Guided visualization meditations help you to receive information.

Reflecting on your meditation afterwards is just as important. Some like to journal, talk about it with friends, or think about it on long nature walks – whatever works for you.

What you want to do is make connections between the messages you’ve received and the question / intention you’d set.

Intuitive messages often come through symbolism.

As you play detective, you’ll decipher the codes.

No one is as qualified to understand the symbolism you receive as you are. Just give yourself time, open up to the possibilities, and learn to trust your Self.

4. Act

Guidance is of no use if you don’t act on it.

It’s so important to follow through with inspired action that comes from any intuitive exercise.

“It was an extraordinary experience, so powerful in so many ways… I didn’t tell you what my interest in music is but you accurately focused on my voice. I have to say that my voice seems clearer, stronger, easier…and I’ve noticed that other people have noticed a change too. I love the image of the notes as rainbow colours reaching out into space, embracing planets and stars, and I keep that in mind now when I sing.”

By consciously reconnecting to a scene from the meditation each time she sings, Lucy’s performance has noticeably improved. In turn, this brings her one step closer to her vision as a sound healer. The power of her custom meditation is amplified by her inspired action.

Your Divine Helpers won’t drop you if you forget to follow-up. But the more you trust your intuition, your Guidance, the easier and more successful the relationship will be.

Start with baby steps and one day, like me, you won’t hesitate to take the leaps of faith, no matter what that means to you.

5. Allow

This is the last of the “Intuition into Action Treasure Map: 5 Steps to a Happy Healthy Life”.

Allow your life to evolve while staying tuned to guidance every step of the way.

Once you’ve taken action, trust that the results will fit in the big picture even if you can’t see it with your nose up against it.

Know that if you were guided, there’s a reason.

I once received a clear knowing during meditation. I was directed to study photography on Vancouver Island. This came as a complete surprise! I was just finishing my Masters of Education in Calgary and planning on going back overseas to teach English. I already had a Certificate in Professional Photography. No matter. The guidance was strong.  So I did some research and chose one of the two programs on the island.

It took 3 months to figure out that this program was only meant as a doorway. As part of our curriculum, I arranged to intern with the internationally renown spiritual photographer and author Courtney Milne in Saskatchewan. I was then blessed to work with him and his wife for 2 years before his passing.

Keep the Flame Alive

These 5 steps aren’t a one-time thing. They’re as good for major decisions as they are for daily connection. It’ll keep you on track as you journey on your Path to your Highest Good.

Getting my dream job right out of university was the result of living intuitively for most of my life. But I too hopped onto the hamster wheel and stopped listening.

It was only when I became so unhappy that I realized it was time to ask for help again. That’s when I learned to use my intuition more consciously.

Does Religion Matter?

“One In Love” (9″ x 12″) – $357

Someone asked me this week: “Can I still benefit from your services if I have a traditional religious belief system?”

It’s not the first time someone asks, so I’m glad to share.

My intuitive readings, guided meditations or energy painting commissions aren’t part of any one religion, nor are they meant to go against any.

In my opinion, my visionary skills are complimentary to your belief system, no matter what that is.

I offer what I do to help strengthen your Connection, your intuition, your ability to hear your Inner and Greater Guidance.

The true answer, though,  lies in how you feel.

I believe you’ll benefit no matter your religion, as long as you’re open to seeing your Self through the eyes of Unconditional Love.

The names and labels we put on that will vary.

But if you believe that you’re being supported by something greater than your human incarnation, then you’ll be open to the messages that flow through me.

I’ve come to realize that no matter the religion or language used, the essence and purpose are the same: to unite as One In Love (the name of this painting).

It’s about letting love in, so it can shine back into the world and beyond – whatever you call that.  

It’s about being the best we can be for our own Highest Good and the good of all humanity.

So it’s not about the names or categories of benevolent helpers that matter. It’s your openness to receiving their help.

 

“Are you religious ?”

I’m a deeply spiritual person.

My personal relationship with Source has been dear to me my whole life.

I was raised Catholic and am grateful for that upbringing because it put a language and context to the connection I already felt within me and around me.

Having lived in several continents and across Canada, however, my spirituality has become more universal.

I’m equally comfortable with

  • God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and saints
  • The Universe, Divine Oneness,
  • Great Spirit and totem animals
  • your ancestors
  • Hindu gods/goddesses like Ganesh or Saraswati
  • Mother Earth and the elementals
  • Father Sun, Mother Moon, astrology
  • Buddha and other wise teachers
  • Higher Self
  • Angels, Spirt Guides
  • Quantum physics
  • etc.

“Will you know which of my Guides are working with you ?”

Although I’m a highly visual person who’s been blessed with the gift of visions, I usually sense the presence of what I sometimes refer to as your “Team of Divine Helpers” or “Higher Council”.  I don’t necessarily see them, but the symbolism they want you to work with.

The essence of your team comes through me as One for you to meet them within your own belief system.

I feel their love flowing through me to you, but I don’t see them in a way that would allow me to identify them.  Not usually, anyway.

Who and what you’ll meet along the way (in a guided meditation, for example) will be unique to you. My offerings often present an opportunity for you to meet them, which is the real purpose.

 

“How do your intuitive services fit within traditional religious belief systems ?”

My intuitive readings, guided meditations, and energy paintings are simply tools to access your own Guidance.

The beauty is that you’re always free to take what serves you and leave the rest.

How Inner Guidance Talks. Are You Listening?

Are you well? Are you happy? Are you living a life of passion and purpose? These questions are all asking the same thing: are you listening to your inner guidance? 

 
This isn’t an easy thing to do, especially in this day and age when our inner and outer worlds have become so noisy. We’ve learned to turn a deaf ear to both our intuition and signals from our bodies. From the time we were born, we’ve been trained to please each other, taking on the conditions of our parents, teachers, and society. We’ve rejected our own emotions and developed a gamut of unhealthy coping mechanisms.
 
When the Body Talks:
 
As Dr. Gabor Maté writes in his book “When the Body Says No – The Hidden Costs of Stress”,
 
“What has happened is that we have lost touch with the gut feelings designed to be our warning system… (T)he salient stressors in the lives of most human beings today – at least in the industrialized world – are emotional. Just like laboratory animals unable to escape, people find themselves trapped in lifestyles and emotional patterns inimical to their health. The higher the level of economic development, it seems, the more anesthetized we have become to our emotional realities.”
 
If we ignore the whispers of our emotions and intuition, however, our Higher Selves may feel the need to shout – creating a state of such discord or dis-ease that we finally stop and listen. As Abraham, a group of evolved spiritual teachers channelled through Esther Hicks, explains:
 
“If you were more unwilling to put up with negative emotions, your lives would go a whole lot better for you. You have trained yourselves to be willing to endure misalignment and then you make decisions without clarity…. after a while, you get really tired of feeling bad.”

Luckily, there’s a huge shift happening. People are waking up to the costs of living a life that is disconnected to their heart’s callings.  They’re choosing wellness. They’re choosing happiness.  They’re choosing healing, which simply means aligning with their true essence, with Source.

 
How do you do that? Your emotions will act as your guidance system as you ask and listen. How can you truly be your Self in the world? What are your governing values? What are your passions? What’s your perfect fit in terms of diet, fitness, creativity, work, hobbies, lifestyle, etc.?
 
This is the time to create your Life by Design – a life that is as unique as you are. It’s not selfish. To be who you truly are, in all your love and beauty, is the Greatest Gift to all. As Marianne Williamson shares,
 
“Personal transformation can and does have global effects. As we go, so goes the world, for the world is us. The revolution that will save the world is ultimately a personal one.”  
 
Hearing Aids for Your Transformational Journey: 
 
Transforming your inner and outer realities isn’t easy. It takes courage to let go of beliefs, patterns and choices that no longer serve you.
 
There are many empowering tools available to help you connect to your true essence on this transformational journey. It’s not necessarily the choice of tools that matters, but your intention. In selecting tools that resonate with you, you’re creating the necessary expectation of healing that opens yourself up to their benefits.
 
It’s important to remember though, that alignment with your Higher Self is a moment-by-moment process – one that takes time, patience and unconditional love.   You deserve it!
